Altair Atelier

What is this

Altair Atelier is a creative ideation tool for tabletop RPG players, game masters, writers, and anyone who needs a spark. It is not a rules engine. It does not build stat blocks or enforce system mechanics. It builds characters — vivid, specific, surprising ones — and gets out of the way.

Philosophy

Generated content is setting-agnostic by design. A Vampire Gnome Blood Dragoon, the Exiled means something whether you're playing D&D, running a homebrew campaign, writing a novel, or building a video game. The source material is drawn from dozens of tabletop and video game systems, but the output belongs to no world in particular — and therefore any world at all.

How it works

Select or randomize your character's attributes — race, class, background, appearance, voice, and more. Then generate a backstory, personality, and visual descriptors using Claude. From there, generate portrait images, full-body illustrations, pixel art sprites, and animations. Save your character and share them with a unique link.

One rule

All generated characters are adults. The minimum age is 24, enforced without exception. This is a tool for storytelling, not a space for harm.

What's coming

The character generator is just the beginning. Magic items, spells, worlds, maps, and NPCs are all on the roadmap. Altair Atelier is built to grow.
