Backstory
Loch Farstone was a gnomish circus performer — acrobat, clown, and crowd-charmer — until a supernatural encounter left him half-shattered and rebuilt in iron and steam, his ruined face a permanent advertisement for what lives in the dark. He hunts the things that broke him now, not out of vengeance or righteousness, but because someone has to, and he already knows what it costs.
Personality
Loch carries his barrel-chested, mechanized frame with a surprising gentleness, moving carefully through spaces as if perpetually aware he could break something smaller than himself, always quick with a warm laugh that seems too big for the thin voice producing it. His defining quirk is that he performs still — not for stages, but instinctively, turning even grim explanations into something almost theatrical, his iron-jointed hands conducting the air as he speaks.
Catchphrase
"I've been the monster under the bed and the fool in the spotlight, love, so believe me when I say I know exactly which one you're dealing with."
Descriptors
barrel-chested gnome, mechanized iron limbs, steam vents at joints, chestnut tentacle hair, rose skin heavily scarred and partially plated, milky white eyes, ruined face with iron reinforcement, worn practical hunter's coat, layered leather and metal armor, warm gentle expression despite ruined features, dramatic hand gestures, small stature imposing presence
Voice
Loch speaks in a rapid-fire British clip, his voice landing deep but carrying thin — a silky, warm rumble that somehow feels more intimate than powerful, like a large man whispering urgently across a small table.
