Backstory
Theron Ashenveil was a sky-diver and storm-reader among her people, until the day she flew too close to a chaos rift tearing open above the Shattered Peaks and something vast and unknowable looked back through her eyes — and never fully left. Now she wanders the low places of the world, too unpredictable for her own kin to follow, too alive to be contained by anything as small as a horizon.
Personality
Theron carries herself like a storm that hasn't decided where to land yet — all coiled muscle and tilted head, feathers perpetually ruffled at odd angles as though buffeted by winds no one else can feel. She laughs at the wrong moments, goes terribly still right before violence, and has a habit of repeating the last word someone says to her in a murmur, as if testing it against some other voice only she can hear.
Catchphrase
"I stopped asking the sky for permission a long time ago, and I suggest you do the same before I stop asking you."
Descriptors
brawny female birdfolk barbarian, large powerful feathered frame, dark iridescent plumage, wild unkempt crest feathers, hollow unsettling possessed eyes with fractured pupils, jagged bone and leather armor, fraying storm-grey wraps, ritual chaos markings carved into feathers, savage fierce expression, unhinged energy, dynamic windswept pose, dark fantasy mood
Voice
Her voice is a low crackling rasp — like a fire catching wet wood — delivered in unhurried bursts with sudden lurching emphasis on words that shouldn't matter, carrying a hollow resonance beneath it as though a second, slower voice is always a half-second behind.
